2 Sunday Best #43: I Did It My Way

"For what is a man, what has he got?  If not himself, then he has naught.  To say the things he truly feels; And not the words of one who kneels.  The record shows I took the blows - And did it my way!"
The immortal words of the legend known as Frank Sinatra moans volumes about the way he lived his life and continues to do so.  This week's Sunday Best have demonstrated that they have not only taken Franks advice but have thrown caution to wind and have spit in the face of Games Workshops while they were at it.  Just like the big cheese in the Rat Pack, they each have done it their way.

Rat #1 - Joe Saves the Day @ the Painting Table: Plasma Webway Portals
Joe has not only covered Games Workshops face in a giant lugee but he has trampled their face with a marauding pack of wild beast.  How exactly did he manage to get these monstrosities to stomp their skull inside out while he was spitting on them?  Well Joe clearly has thrown a rave party for them.  He claims that Frank Sinatra's song "Dancing in the Dark" as the driving force behind creating his glowing webway portals.  Games Workshop should be glad that their faces were stomped otherwise they would be holding their heads down in shame thanks to Joe doing it his way.

Rat #2 - Excommunicate Tratoris: Bran Redmaw
Karitas this past week was left wondering how he should go about modelling up a figure to represent Bran Redmaw.  Obviously with Games Workshop lack of a dedicated model he has not choice but to do it his way.  He did have to face the curtain call when it came to his hair style.  An inkling in him pondered if his hair was "Gone with the Wind" or if he should have a full head of hair like any decent crooner?
Rat #3 - Scratchbuilt 40K: Making the Fluff Fit Your Army
Krisken loathed the fact that Games Workshop had handcuff the fluff behind his demons into concrete images.  Not one to be stuck in a moment, he sought a way around his predicament by turning the table on Games Workshop.  He ended up turning it so hard that he knocked them off their feet.  It wasn't the high notes or or his snappy clothes but rather his ability to do it his way that lead him to his latest creation.  Each of these "Poor Butterflies" may be hideous in nature but the shear ingenuity behind them is what drives them down Broadway.

Each of these dirty little rat fully acknowledges the life style of Frank Sinatra by doing things their way.  They are "for anything that gets you through the night, be it prayer, tranquilizers, or a bottle of Jack Daniels."  They each understood that "Fear is the enemy of Logic" and that they had the power of Grey Skull in their hands to abuse...Oh wait this was suppose to be about Frank Sinatra not Heman Master of the Universe...Where was I...not quite sure...I guess I'm about to face the final curtain call.   I can only hope that you will let the record show that you too took the the blows and did it your way.
